A: The communication distance depends on the environment. In open areas without obstacles, it can reach 3-10 km; in complex scenarios such as industrial workshops or urban areas, the effective distance is 500-2000 m.
It is recommended to match with our LoRaWAN gateway for optimal signal coverage.
2.Q: Do I need to lay cables during deployment?
A: No cables are required. The sensor uses LoRaWAN wireless communication technology, and the gateway connects to the cloud platform via Ethernet or 4G.
The entire system realizes wireless transmission from sensor to gateway and from gateway to cloud, eliminating the need for complex cable laying and reducing installation costs and construction time.
3.Q: What are the common reasons for intermittent data transmission of the sensor?
A: In addition to the excessive distance between the sensor and the LoRaWAN gateway, intermittent transmission may also be caused by the gateway being installed near metal surfaces (resulting in signal shielding) or other wireless devices in the vicinity occupying the communication frequency band.
